Ingredients and the Dutch Stage 3 recipe

The published 10-month product label lists skimmed milk, lactose, GOS fibre, natural lactic acid cultures, fish oil, vegetable oils, vitamins and minerals. The oil blend includes palm, rapeseed and sunflower oils. HiPP also identifies Metafolin as a feature of this product.

How does it compare with Dutch Stages 1 and 2?

Dutch Stage 1 is the from-birth infant milk. Dutch Stage 2 is a follow-on product from six months. Stage 3 starts at ten months. Use each product's own feeding guide; do not assume that similar packaging makes their scoops or mixing instructions interchangeable.

Does reaching ten months mean I must switch?

Preparation and storage

The published Stage 3 label advises storing the closed tin in a cool, dry place and using opened powder within three weeks. Record the opening date and check each tin's best-before date. Follow the supplied label if instructions change.
