PRE or Stage 1: what is the difference?

Does PRE have to be replaced by Stage 1?

Both are from-birth products. A stage number is not an instruction to change a milk that suits your baby's needs. Discuss feeding choices with your healthcare professional. In the German range, Stage 2 starts at six months and Stage 3 at ten months.

Preparation and storage

Read the full directions on the box before preparing the first feed. Use only the scoop supplied with that product and the stated water-to-powder ratio. Powdered formula is not sterile. Use clean equipment, prepare each feed fresh, check the drinking temperature and discard unfinished milk. Ask your healthcare professional if you need preparation advice for your baby's circumstances.

Reseal the inner bag after use and follow the pack's storage conditions and time limit after opening. Mark the opening date and check the best-before date on every box. A familiar brand name does not mean that an older scoop or set of directions applies to a newer recipe.
